Hi all,

I brewed an Admirals Reserve 3 weeks back and bottled it last night (3 weeks in the FV) but im a bit worried i've done the wrong thing!

I took a hydro reading and it was 1014 - 1016 but assumed that as it had been in the Fv for so long it would have finished, it had a steady fermenting temp of between 18 and 19 dgrs.

I primed all the bottles (37 of them 24 coopers and 13 glass) with 1/2tsp of caster sugar, what im worried about now is if it wasn't finnished am i in trouble with the glass bottles if it has still got to drop another 2 to 4 points?

Thanks guys

Andy

1014 should be OK. Most of my brews have finished at about that and none of my bottles have exploded. Yet. Not done the Admirals Reserve though.

I've found the Woodfordes usually finish 1012 to 1010 so was a little worried as this one is upto 6 points up on the lowest i've had before!

My wherry is on, bottled the AR and got the wherry on.
In all it took me 2 1/2 hours to bottle 37 pints of AR and get the Wherry going.
