My first real "Premium" kit :)

Set this going on sunday, instructions really clear with this one, warm the two pouches in hot water first, mix with 3 litres boiling water, topped up to 23L and pitched yeast in at 21 degrees... job's a good 'un :)

Like the idea of the sachet of hop pellets to add on day 5 too.

Only worry is that its been 72 hours now, and despite the fact i can see froth etc in the FV, ive not seen ANY activity in the airlock :wha: This is a new FV and the first time i have used a sealed lid/airlock combo.... should i be worried or could it just be that the lid isnt airtight or something?
 
My Festival kit was the same mate, really slow to get any airlock activity and even when it did get going it never really started bubbling much. Yeast did ferment fine over about 10 days though.

Day 4 now and there is a good krausen on it. According to the instructions the hop sachet goes in tomorrow :)
