I brewed up a Festival Golden Stag kit around April time.
At the time I waited until it had finished in the primary, then dry hopped into the FV for 5 days.
Flavour at time of bottling was disappointing, incredibly bitter, almost undrinkably so.
Bottled anyway, and left for a month.
Over the next few months I had the odd bottle here and there, but the bitterness was always there, it only seemed to mellow out a tiny bit. This was as recently as a fortnight ago.
Just cracked another one open tonight, and WOW! It has completely changed all of a sudden. Bitterness has really backed off, and is really drinkable now.
Light and hoppy, really easy to drink.
It's also now as clear as crystal.
Considering it was meant to be my June/July brew, it took its time.
However, it has proven to me that patience is key.
