I have been looking at pressure fermenting and as I only have one brew fridge I was looking at the Fermzilla All Rounder with a jacket as it will need to ferment in my garage which has no room for another fridge .
So my question is ,will the Fermzilla Jacket keep the All Rounder at the right temperature using a brew belt with it being Central Scotland the garage can get to below freezing in winter .

I have fermented with the Fermzilla 27L plus jacket in the garage in the middle of winter.

Since there’s some space under the conical Fermzilla I used a garden tube heater and it kept it within range.

I’m based in the midlands so it wasn’t much below freezing.

Couple of issues I had.
1. The concrete floor was also cold and that kind of thermal mass isn’t going to shift in temp.
2. The tube heater was on a lot of the time.

If I was going to do it again I’d find something to get it away or heavily insulated from the floor. If you can find an off cut of celotex or similar and then put a board over it that might do.

I would fill it with water and see how the temperature holds overnight with the heat belt.

I think the all rounder does fit in an undercounter fridge, just…

Only just...

I see Kegland have come up with some new low profile disconnects which look like they'd help. Haven't seen them in the UK or on their Aliexpress store yet though.

Thanks for the replies . I think i will get the All Rounder and use my brew fridge as well as a Celotex cube . Pretty sure i read somewhere you can use a bit of drain pipe as holder to put the All Rounder on in the Undercounter Fridge

I'm rather embarrassed to admit that I hadn't thought of that! Definitely going to give it a go when the brew fridge is empty.

Tilting it over? Not my original idea - pretty sure I saw someone else on here suggesting it. I'm not sure I'd have thought of it myself tbh. :D

Got my Fermzilla Allrounder coming and have built a basic Ferm Chamber out of Celotex 50mm .So basically an insulated box which hopefully with either a belt or Tube heater will keep a constant temp in the winter in my garage . Just need to look into cooling it in the summer on the rare occasions we get heat up here in Scotland . Ice bottles or just turn up the heat with kveik

Got my all rounder and it just fits in my undercounter fridge . Do you ferment in that tilted angle and if so after you have cold crashed how do you transfer the beer without upset it?

Yeah, it sits like that for the full time in there. When it's done I just rotate it to get access to the disconnects, take off the spunding valve, then hook up gas and a transfer hose and pressure transfer to the keg.
