i have uesd Fermentis's S-33 a couple of times and while it produced a perfectly adequite beer, it didn't taste anything like a Belgium beer. Anybody else found the same?

No, an none else that I have hear from using it. Its the old EDME strain and English yeast a good yeast but the stiff on the net about it been Belgian are just wrong.

I have used it a few time no and I think it will be taking over from S-04 great for porter and stouts

A good option for wit beers/Belgian blond and triple with dry yeast is T-58 or Brewferm Wheat Yeast
