I am looking to improve my fermentation process. My set up currently is a Brewster Beacon 40, a plastic FV with a tap at the bottom, and a standard Ferminator. I currently transfer to bottles, but kegging is an option in the future.

I want to get a better FV. So, on my checklist is:

  • Fits inside a Ferminator. The height is unimportant as I can buy extensions, but the diameter is.
  • Although I don’t have immediate plans to pressure ferment, I would like this option in the future.
  • Effective in terms of racking the beer without transferring too much trub in.
  • Some means of dry hopping with minimal risk of oxidisation.
What would you guys recommend?

The Apollo looks good and hopefully will be available soon. Built in handles and a wider opening to clean. Also, like gen 3 has themo wall and dry hop port. think they will be available in new year.
