I look forward to starting my next brew this way, I bought a Woodforde's Admiral 32 pint kit as my next brew.

I agonised over how to keep a stable fermentation temperature without the space for a second fridge for weeks, and this week bought a ferminator. Currently have a lager sitting at a steady 10 degrees in my spare bedroom/office/bike room

Results are in for my FV water jacket test.

Lowest the water jacket falls to is 21c, with a peak of around 22.6c. Now that's a water jacket of about 50mm around it. With 23 liters of water in the FV, it's quite unlikely the brew will reach that peak, so I probed the brew which is just currently water for test purposes and that hangs around at 20.8c.
