Am thinking of building a fermenting cupboard
But was wondering if I could fermenting in keg one side but at the same time and temperature carbonate in bottles on the other side
So basically like a large kitchen unit insulated with a heater and thermostat

If you are fermenting under 20C then yes you can, I have read that ideal conditioning temperature is the temperature the beer which has been bottled fermented at. My bottles condition around the 15C mark on the floor of the fermenting room where it is cooler.

Yes will be around 15
It’s mainly so as soon as one has fermented I can bottle it ready for carbonation
Then set another one off to ferment while the bottles are carbonation
Are wood shelves better or metal ones with holes in

Shelving won't make a difference are you keeping the fermenter higher than the bottles?
