I'm going with the missus to the hospital today for our mid term pregnancy scan this afternoon... I feel like a kid on Christmas eve!! very excited.
Feeling more than a little distracted today...

What's this, 20 week scan? You've got 20 weeks left to go give or take.
Brew something that will take that long to ferment and condition in celebration! You might as well "wet the baby's head" with something you made yourself!! :thumb:

Not on a school night unfortunately!! can't really bugger off to the pub and leave her on her own on what should be a celebratory night for both of us (or so I'm told) :nono: may crack open a wee bottle of homebrew merlot this evening though. John Hewitt is an excellent pub, real ales are in short supply over here so if you find what you like it's a good spot.

Plan is to get a brew on the go on the day he / she is born and to keep a few bottles to give them on their 18th. Will probably be like vinegar but it's the thought that counts!!
