I need a couple of the YELLOW pressure relief bands for a HB beersphere, but can't find any online (without paying £££ in postage) so if anybody has a lhbs that has them and could POST me them I will refund the costs via paypal.

Thanks

I would just give Hope and Grope a call. They quote a lot for postage online but I think they would be willing to stick a couple of washers in an envelope for a more realistic price.

So nobody is going near a hbs and willing to risk a pound on a couple of seals. :wha:

I would visit my lhbs but it would cost me £10 in fuel to do so :nah:

Sorry HB, I'd have picked them up for you but my LHBS doesn't stock them - according to their website anyway, I'll ask next time I'm in though if you haven't got them by then...

As per Dunfies post, call the H&G, for small items they charge P+P at cost so peanuts, and no benefit asking members to do the same, very good of John

Unfortunately I haven't got any hbs near me otherwise I would.

Closest I've got is a health food shop 20 miles away they sell some chemicals and kits but that's it, otherwise I would have offered.

Is it just me or is the h&g web page unuseable in FF? (And before you say use IE, I am LINUX only)
I can't click on any of the headings to navigate (Beer etc).

(I sent them an email asking for a quote for 2 valves inc postage, the query bit works)

not sure about FF, I'm linux only but use Chrome, no issues here.

OK quote is £2-70 for 2 valves (55p each).
So not exactly postage at cost, as they weight about 2g each.

Unless anyone is going to vist a hbs this w/e then I will have to go with it.

any chance you can an alternative from another online supplier / ebay that would charge less postage. From the picture on H&G its hard to see what it actually is, but assuming its a washer I'd have thought you could get a non-homebrew-barrel specific replacement elsewhere.

It's a tublar sleve that fits the pressure release. I don't think I can find an anternative.
No ebay or ebid sites list it.
