Ok so the kids have rustled up £25 for fathers day.. Question is, what do you suggest I buy?

Possibilities are:

Some Mini Kegs (£5 each)?
A premium beer kit? and if so what do you recommend

Anything else??

Your ideas appreciated

I'd go for a premium kit, which one would depend on the type of beers you like.

Had my breakfast cooked for me by the kids  Think their trying to tell me I smell again with gifts of addidas shower stuff  Also had another House T-shirt (its a TV show)
Then I dragged everyone around a couple of carboot's. Bought a second hand golf set with bag for a grand sum of £5, and dragged the lad and youngest around the playing field cussing at every missed swing

Depends what you need!

I've only done a handful of premium kits, but if you want my advice the best ones i've done are Woodfordes Great Eastern, and Brupaks IPA (i dry hopped both).

Muntons Premium Gold Smugglers Special was a disaster, didn't ferment properly, added dry beer enzyme as recommended by muntons, had issues with my pressure barrel, and final result was rank! Brupaks West Riding Wheat got infected sadly, so had to empty all my bottles down the drain

My LHBS always recommends the Brupaks kits if you want a premium kit. I've got a Birkby Bitter kit from them waiting for a fermentation bucket to become available.

What are the mini kegs you refer to? Where can you buy them from?

Thanks for that any other suggestions?

I am gutted for you gettin a beer infection its not just the money its the time and effort too.

I am sure it happens to everyone at least once

hope all ur future brews succeed
