I'm in the process of making a gallon of apple cider vinegar.

Cider vinegar :hmm: :hmm: wonder were you got that idea

Dunno, but unless some M-fricking-LF happens to my TC sometime soon, judging by the test bottle I opened at 3 months maturation recently, I might be working out how to make 19 L of cider vinegar as it's horribly tart at the moment...

Fear not!!!

Even if it doesn't go nuts, it does mellow out after a while. Mine is much much less tart now. I bottled it in May...

You shouldn't have bottled it so early needs 3-6 months maturing in bulk before bottling and maturing. :thumb:

If you do want cider its not hard to do you basically leave it open to the elements and some little feckers come along and turn it to vinegar. However MLFed cider makes a better vinegar IMHO. :thumb:

Yes GA we have vinegar ! not too strong as yet but its on its way..... :thumb: cheers

thank you Hawks, those bottles are amazing  :D I know a few people who'd appreciate a skull full of mead, or a globe of wine! the postage seems rather high but that means I gotta buy more bottles to make it worth it!

No problem, I got the link from this forum a long time back I think.. never actually used it, but agree it's always looked like it makes sense if you are buying a batch.. :thumb:
