Experiment?

Hi I really like the Mexican beer with tequila in it and thought I would try and brew a batch ,I brew a Mexican beer from wilco which is usually very good when would you add the tequila and how much would you use ,if its possible thanks

Add the tequila as you're bottling or kegging. Draw off half a pint and add tequila with a dropper until it tastes right and then scale up.

OK thanks ,so say half pint = 5 drops ,500 ml =10 drops in the bottle

Yep. But try it first. It might be less or more than 5 drops in the ½ pint.

Just had a thought. It's possible (although I don't know for sure) that the tequila flavour is more or less prominent when the beer is carbonated. If it's not enough, you could always add a bit more to your glass before drinking it.

Do what I did when I added maple to my stout at bottling- I cleaned out a calpol bottle and filled with maple. I used the calpol syringe to add a measured amount to each bottle

Sorry for the daft question, if i use hops in pellet form would they just dissolve so it would be no need to use a bag.

Not exactly dissolve but they do disintegrate into tiny particles. I dont use a bag with pellets, but I use a g40 which filters the hop mush out when i transfer to fv.

A grainfather all in one - ie combined mash tun and boiler. You pump direct from g40 into fermenter. Wort flows through a filter plate before it reaches pump.
