Hello All

Not sure this is the right forum, if not Mods pleae feel free to shift it :)

I bought a King Keg and CO2 cylinder off eBay for not too much money, the kit has arrived in double quick time and I'm now looking at an S30 lid and a SodaStream cylinder...... Can the two be persuaded to mate, or have I got a cheap(ish) king keg and some scrao aluminium?

If it helps I have 'access' to a rather well equipped tool room and a VERY highly skilled Tool Maker who owes me a few favours, so if the wont 'mate' as standard, has anyone got any tips on ow to cross pollinate them? :)

I assume you've tried and one doesn't screw onto the other? If it were me I'd abandon the cylinder and get one that fits an S30. Not much help I know but you could be faffing around for ages instead of brewing.

Very much where I'm going as well :)

I'vev got my eye on other kegs on eBay that have S30 cylinders with them, looks like I'll be listing the soda stream cylinder on eBay, see if it shifts, if not vent it and it's ally scrap :)

I'm off to sterlise it now, there is a brew in the FV ready for transfer and my other keg is still half full of my first brew :D

I have to say, this hobby can be quite addictve, from scratting around for 'cheap' brewin kit, working ouut what type of ingredient to use, consuming the product, it's taking up a good chunk of time, I'm liking it :D
