Hello everyone,

Does anyone have one English Pale Ale recipes? I want it I be all grain and similar to IPA's. I want it to be quite complex as well, thanks

Out of interest, why not just brew an IPA? Add some munich if you want more maltiness.

Big Kenny is a complex one.
Big Kenny is a nice pint, and well worth brewing. However, I'm not sure I would say it is much like an IPA...

It should have a highish gravity and be dark. That's about it.
It should be dark? An India Pale Ale? I don't think Big Kenny is what would generally be called an IPA, American or otherwise. Your mileage apparently varies *shrugs*

I was thinking the English version since he is talking about an English Pale Ale. To me that would be base malt and a lot of EKG probably around 7%.
