We would like to introduce a feature to the forum, which will from now be an annual event!

THBF End of Year Awards!

The way it works......

You post on this thread your nomination for "Most amusing post" - add a link to the post and mention the posters name!

Your nomination may then be added to a vote thread which will be opened for 1 week over the Christmas period.

The winner with the
most votes will receive from THBF a voucher for £20 to spend
at Craftbrewer.au.

We look forward to seeing who gets nominated and we would like to wish you all and your loved ones a Happy Christmas and look forward to your continued contribution to what YOU have made to be the fastest growing Home Brew Forum in the UK!

As far as I am aware, Twelfth Night (January 6th) officially marks the end of the Christmas period.

As I appear to have an unchallenged nomination for the most amusing post (thanks for that leondz), I was rather wondering how and when I should receive my Craftbrewer voucher.

For geographical convenience, maybe Screwy, who appears to have an unchallenged nomination for best photo, would care to swop his Matchless voucher for mine?

I'm not sure how you're going to sort out the best recipe or most interesting thread.

If this is intended to be an annual thing, perhaps the nominations for 2010 could be opened now? Maybe that way threads, posts or pics which appear particularly interesting could be put on the list while they are still fresh in the mind.

For example, without wishing to detract from Screwy's pint on the beach, I saw some great photos and photosets over the months, including some almost ****ographic shiny, but I can't now recall what was posted where, when and by whom.

I don't think the nominations were ever put up for the vote .... Due to lack of interest :(

I'll consult the other admins about what to do with the prize money.

Ahh you didn't post the link!

That is a suggestion I was going to put forward as it's the forums chosen charity.

Will post back in a few days once we have had a chance to consider. :thumb:
