I found a bottle of elderflower infused cider in Sainsburys a few weeks back (part of their "Taste the difference" range but made my Aspalls) and rather nice it is too - if ruinously expensive for what it is. As the elderflower season was (barely here in the south) still going I thought I'd have a bash.
Did an ordinary turbo cider using 3 cartons of Lidl cheap juice, pectalose, nutrient etc. After it had fermented out I topped up the DJ with a small (about 200ml) sugar solution that I'd infused with the flowers from about 5 small elderflower heads in - left it for a day then racked into some plastic bottles. Got a cracking infusion and effectively re-primed it so nicely sparkling too!
One happy brewer here!
