El Dorado hops

Anyone tried these? They're on cheap on brewuk site, £1.80 100g.

I've read interesting things about them, apparently can taste like jolly ranchers. Perhaps not to all tastes but sounds great to me.

If you have, what sort of recipe did you use?

I've got some and used them in a pale ale last year. It was ok, but they didn't seem as potent as they are described. Definitely worth a go though. Different, and not in a bad way.

Boo, it's the potency I was after. I'm on a hop mission from God at the moment as my rambling hop related posts probably make obvious.

Still, they sound good and can't go wrong at that price, really

Probably good blended with other hops to add a different twist.
