Everytime I siphon to FV2 inorder to batch prime etc I have an "oh cr@p" moment... not for obvious reasons though
My FV1 are usually on the sideboard at about 1m high. I stick my FV2 on a sturdy tub about 40cm high. Siphoning goes great, no splashing or anything... now I have to lift my 25kg FV2 back up to my 1m sideboard or table in order to bottle... My issue???
I'm only 5' and although lifting 25kg isn't too much of an issue, lifting it to 1m without tipping and spilling is a huge issue!
Is it possible to do a site-to-site siphon at the same height, or must the receiving vessel be lower than the donating vessel for the siphoning to work?
