Dry kviek??

Hello all
Just looking in fleabay...a seller's got "dry kviek" yeast for sale..£7 a pack...four strains available.
Wonder if it's the real deal? Could two starters be made from a single packet or would half a pack work?

This has been talked about in the kviek thread (do keep up Clint!). Forumites who have bought it said you get 4g of dried yeast which is enough to innoculate a brew as kviek is ideally underpitched

There is the "HøG-NORSK" yeast by CML (https://www.amazon.co.uk/HøG-NORSK-Northern-European-Suitable-Available/dp/B07RCJVVHK) but I haven't read any glowing reports. Still, it has got to be a better bet than some dodgy eBay seller, and one hell of a lot cheaper.

"HøG-NORSK" doesn't actually claim to be kviek (as it is presumed to be), but does tick some of the "assumptions".

He is selling the farmhouse strains. I spent over double that getting some liquid sent from Norway so you have nothing to lose. I bought some of the eBay stuff but have not gotten around to using it yet. Been using the VOSS for a few years with no intention of dumping it. It's been a bargain but I reuse all my yeast so every time I brew it's free.

EDIT. I can send you some but I need to find some vials that don't leak first. Have not dried any yet.
