Hey Guys does 2g of hops per litre of wort sound about right for dry hopping beer in secondry FV for about a week?

Plug hops are whole hops that have been compressed. they are designed to be dropped through a bung hole of a cask and are 1oz in weight . . . so 1 oz for a nine gallon cask.

Personally it depends on the beer. If you look at some of the Durden park beers they are dry hopped at the rate of 1/10 oz per gallon. . . . I have been known to use 30g of hops in 18L

:hmm: I was thinking 45g in 23 litres as I would like maximum punch from the hops.

Hi, I think you can go from half a gram to a gram per L for an English Bitter/Pale ale type of beer, up to 2g per L and beyond for American pale ales/ipas.

I'm drinking an IPA with 100g of Columbus dry hops (45L batch) and it has a nice hoppy punch to it.
