Dry hopping too long?

Hi there,

I may have screwed up. I put some cascade pellets in a hop bag in the FV about a week before going on holiday and one thing led to another (sick kids, tying work stuff up) and I forgot to take them out. I've two FVs in my. Pantry that are now sitting for two weeks. Question is, by the time I get back those hops will have sat in there for 3 weeks. It's 40g of Cascade. Would this be enough to impart the dreaded grassy flavours?

I could try to contact someone to remove them for me but I'd need to be sure it was necessary since I don't really want anyone messing with my brew!

Any advice?

Only grassy taste I ever had was because I (apparently) dislike Amarillo hops (but then again I like cilantro). All the other brews were as expected, whether dryhopping for 4 or for 12 days.
It'll be fine.
 
I've decided to give up on Dry Hopping altogether and stick to introducing a Hop Tea before kegging/bottling.

Why?

It reduces the work, reduces the chance of introducing an infection and (in my opinion) doesn't sacrifice any "hoppiness" in the finished brew.
