I will be dry hopping a cornie of XL Bitter but wondered what the best way to do this is?

I may have it sussed but would like to get feedback on other methods.

I'm thinking of using 5g Goldings (whole hops) in a muslin bag with a weight in it, this will be tied to some fishing line and suspended half way down the keg for 3 days.

Does that sound about right? How do you Dry Hop yours?

I'm serving through a beer engine - is 5g enough?

I can't get enough hops into a keg when dry hopping and i use a stainless steel tea ball i got off ebay, actually i have three and have been know to fill two and put them in the one cornie, i leave it there til the last pint yum yum :D

I've done it the same as you're proposing Wez. I used 10g though.

I have now got hold of a couple of the teabag thingys now, but haven't had chance to use them yet.
