Dry Hop Help

Hi all, im in the middle of the youngs ipa kit. i have added the hop pellets as per the instructions ( loose )
However, after 2 days there is still a large hop sludge on the surface. should this have sunk by now? or will they sink in time? what should i do about it?

It'll probably sink in time. Don't worry. And don't keep peeking!

I assume they're pellets? Most of the "sludge" will sink over time. Crash cooling - outside is perfect this time of year - should drop the rest out.

Even if they haven't sunk by the time you're ready to bottle, if you're using a siphon they will get drawn to the sides of the FV as the beer goes down and left on the FV.
