Hi All,
I'm getting a big pile of empty bottles built up at the moment and as my pots won't be in stock until the middle of the month, I reckon I should get some kits on.
I'm thinking a Nelsons Revenge and a Better Brew Yorkshire Bitter.
So if I were to pop down to Rob's and pick up some hops to jazz them up a bit, what would your suggestions be?
So far from a browse through Wheeler, Styrian Goldings seem to be the hop of choice for yorkshire bitters. I think I'll probably do that but should I boil some up with the extract to put a bit more bitterness and flavour in as well as a little dry hop?
What about the Nelsons? People say its a great kit as is but how would you make it better? Wheeler seems to have Fuggles, various varieties of Golding, Northdown and Target as late addition or dry hops. Which would you choose and what do they bring to a beer?
