Dry after taste

Hi all
Like lots of people I decided to dig out my homebrew stuff and start brewing again. I bought a pilgrims hope kit and knocked it up but after having a taste yesterday it seems to have a bit of dry after taste. I was wondering if this will ease if it's left to condition as i tried it bang on the 14th day of secondary fermentation.

Hi Phill,

What fermentables did you use? I've often found that if I just use sugar I nearly always get a dry after taste. I mainly use DME now and I never get that dry aftertaste.

I used everything that was in the kit. I've now thrown this beer out as it really tasted bad.
