Hi Guys,
Just brought a kit wine off ferment and added the stabiliser in powder form. Only afterwards I realised that I should have added the stabiliser to a cup of warm water and THEN mixed into the brew. Just how important was this step of mixing with warm water BEFORE adding ?

Many thanks in advance.

You dont tell us what kit you've used so it's hard to tell. Many kits use a mixture of K sorbate and Na metabisulphite to "stabilise" the wine. Both are very soluble and can be added as a powder.
Please tell us what the kit is and see if you can identify the contents of the stabiliser from the instructions or ingredients list.

Its K sorbate

It'll be fine. Sorbate dissolves readily. I read somewhere that it's best traded with metabisulphite, but I don't know personally as I neve use stabilisers. Either way, if it's what's been supplied it as should be fine.
