Hi guys, quick question
I have a spare bathtub which holds my 5gallon demijohns for fermenting .
I have water aquarium heater to control temp but stopped and temp went down to 12c .
Back up one is working now but woundering will the drop in temp cause any lasting issues ? Big drop off on co2 bubbles

If it stopped due to the cold...it will restart in the warmth. Should be no lasting problem

I only have one heater but have three fv's so i wrap my other two in old towels dressing gowns etc so i cannot keep them at an ideal 21/22c as i like to. I don't know what temp the non heated one's drop to [must check next time] but i would suspect they go down to around 16/17ish wrapped up. Result it just takes longer in the fv but not had no ill effects.

Lager can ferment at lower temps down to 15c i have heard than say bitter or cider which i think is ideal around 21to 24c

Cheers for replies.... i think my extension cord caused the issue but main thing is fermentaion is ok again
