ok started last night with the fabled over night mash

decided to take photos this time :grin:

first brew espresso stout.

4kg M/O
600g oats
300g roast barley
300g crystal
200g black malt

30g ekg @90
42g fuggles @40
15g fuggles @20


irish moss @15

6g espresso @5 min

nottingham yeast
 
probably going to be plucked parrot porter... but i think it is more of a stoup

this is where i stopped taking photos, a great down pour made me bring the boiler in, however i cracked a seal on one of the elements. had to transfer to a FV fix the seal and start again!

final collections! 1056 after correction and alot more than i expected at 75% efficiency got to love the overnight mash!!

ok so how quick is nottingham??

added the yeasties on Sat pm... looks like it has almost finished. not going to touch it for a while, not even to take a reading but i am well impressed!!
