Put my very first kit, Woodford wherry, into fermentation fridge yesterday.
This has a Dimplex tube heater in, all controlled with an inkbird. The temp probe is taped to FV and covered with insulation.
Set inkbird to 19 degrees with .5 variations.
My problem is the temp seems to stay around 26degrees, I have lowered the setting to 17degrees and temp still shows 26degrees. This is backed up by the thermometer strip stuck to FV.
Do you think I’ve got a dodgy inkbird? And do you think brew will be ok?
