just bought 24 bottles of 1 litre soda waters, after i empty them im going to use them to bottle my brew, im going to bottle as soon as i empty them, will they still need to be sterilised, or will they be clean enough as they are.

I would say possibly ok as it is... But, I would sterilise anyway, just to be on the safe side...
 
+ 1...play safe, not worth it for a quick rinse out with steriliser. If you get a bad bottle you'll only kick yourself. :sick:
 
give the thread and the cap a good clean. if anyone has drunk from the bottle i sanitise as usual. (i use 1.5ltr sparkling water bottles occationally)
 
did this with my first brew emptied out the water and just put the lager straight in it was fine but now i know a bit more about brewing and infections i would probably sanitize to be on the safe side ,wouldnt want to ruin a perfectly good brew. :thumb:
