Hi All,

I have a Klarstein 30ltrs Mash Kettle, not sure of the exact model, but it’s the analogue model. Anyway, i’m experimenting with BIAB and would like to know how to go about adding a re-circulating pump. Has anyone out there ever done this? If so, which pump? Or is it possible to cobble something together with bits and pieces?

Thanks in advance.

Have a read through this thread:

I didn't start the thread but I added a lot of details of the steps I took when adding a pump to my 25L Klarstein.

I've been using a pump for mashing (also for whirlpooling when I do it) for well over a year now and wouldn't be without it.

The main thing is to make sure you use silicon rather then PVC tube since the latter is not suitable for mash temperatures or higher.
