At my place of work there's a shrubby vine that has been niggling me for a while as I'm sure I recognise it. Sure enough, I noticed it had flowers on it today and it's a hop! They're not quite ready yet, according to some Google searches I've done, but I wondered if it's worth me grabbing some, drying them and having a go at brewing from it? (I don't know what variety it is, but have asked the gardeners). I only brew small batches of a gallon, so it's no real problem if it comes out crappy.

Yes brew with it. You will never id the hop but never mind. Don't forget you will get no more than a 3rd of the wet hop weight post drying

That's fine, there's quite a lot of it! Any recommended way of drying it?
