Hello All,
I am looking to get a St Peters Cream Stout on over the next few weeks, giving plenty of conditioning time before Christmas (I like to make sure I have a good stout ready through December each year).

Last year I had a Coopers treacle stout on the go, with 12 pints bottled and the rest in a standard pressure barrel. PB was hit and miss, but bottled turned out very nice indeed.

I'm currently looking into other dispensing methods, including minikegs and he iBrew tap-a-draft.
Mainly as I quite like the idea of a larger batch to pull pints off, but without the huge amount of space keeping a PB indoors takes up.

Has anyone had any experiences of using minikegs and the upgraded Party Star tap with a stout in particular?

Similarly for the TAD system. I prefer to batch prime with dark sugar as opposed to force carbonate.

Thanks in advance.

There's a forumite who's a really big fan of min kegs can't remember who it is or find the relevant threads but if you put minikeg in the search bar ^^^ plenty of threads come up including some stuff about party stars

It's nitrogen that gives stout it's smooth creamy taste and after doing a bit of research, only the tap-a-draft system where you can inject it into your beer.

I've never used mini kegs or tap-a-draft but I've thought about both as I love a good stout. The mini kegs take 16g CO2 bulbs but you can only get the Nitrogen bulbs in 8g form.
