Hi have a chap in my local area who is really trying to launch his home brew business and he really is good for beginners with a great knowledge about brewing. BUT
He is 2-3 pound dearer than on the net.
He does'nt have that maney customers and worried he will disapear.
I have used him for all 4 of my brews and carb drops just to try and support him and i know that there is not many home brew outlets near to me in northwich.
What would you guys do?

when saturday comes and you are half way through a brew and you realise you have just run out of that vital ingredient.

you can

a. go to the LHBS

b. order online and finish the brew on wednesday after work.

WELL SAID PROLIX

You could always encourage him to try and sell his stuff cheaper on the net to subsidise his local market, that way he is more likely to stay open.

If he is a web dumcoff a Post on JHB with goods at the right price will do it.

If it works he is bound to shave a bit off for you.

I live in spain ,a brew shop ! I wish . I say support the guy as long as the purse allows it

I have a similar situation, my local homebrew shop is a few more quid more than online. However with the shop I get a number of good services.

1) Lots of advise
2) No delivery charge
3) Someone I can ring for advise if I need some info in a hurry during ...
4) In some cases I can taste a product (As he actively brews anything he sells)

Its all good :D Support him, that's what I do.

Thanks guys local it is.
Just starting my next load of mexican cervaeza.

Niiiccceeee
