I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a digi thermometer because the amount of glass ones i've broken it will work out cheaper.
So my question is what is the best/most acurate digi thermometer to get?

This one Fulfils your Criteria

Seriously though This is good although I've found with all digital thermometers that a comparison against a reference (In my case a Spirit one) across the range is a good idea as it is surprising just how non linear they can be.

You might want to look at the Thermamite 5 or the Thermamite 1 This oneThe Comark would be the dogs danglies but is only set up for 0-40C . . . and I'm thinking of getting The Oven Thermometer for roasting grain in the oven . . . once calibrated it can be used for other purposed. . . . Thermometers Direct (aka Farnborough HBS) did one that took replaceable probes and I bought it and 4 probes, but they don't do it any more . . . and each probe needed 'calibrating' . . . still it was a good one for the price

That oven thermometer you link to is one that I use both in the oven and also for mashing. I checked its accuracy in a boiling kettle along with a spirit thermometer I bought from Wilkinsons, the digital one read exactly 99.0c whilst the spirit one read 104c! :( I know which one I'll be trusting for my mashing!

We use these at work as they have to be calibrated each year to prove accuracy. We have to calibrate the controls and displays on the fridge's so they don't defrost thousands of pounds of frozen stock! Where as the cheap ones don't need to be as acurate. I shall be using this when I start brewing as I have 2 in my van!!!!

£55 for the unit and £30 calibration each year if you want to be super acurate

We get ours here

Looks like you will get the bead probes with it which are good for air temps think you will need the immersion probes to go into liquids or mash!
