I have recently bought a pair of these, £9.79 on Amazon. I wanted something to get a clean and straight cut on beer and gas lines. My kitchen scissors were okay with 3/16 but didn’t cleanly cut bigger line. I got a cleaner cut with a Stanley knife but I can’t seem to cut straight, wonky eyes maybe. Anyhow, these do the job well. I think they’re made for plastic water pipes and such, so they cut through beer and gas line no problem and without squishing them. I also used it to cut some garden hose down, agin, cut through no issue. I’ve found them a handy addition to the toolbox anyway.
