Has anyone tried princes fruit filling for adding to beer?

I have looked at the ingredients and see no preservatives which may kill yeast or anything. This gave me an idea for a black forest stout. Way cheaper than purée (maybe for good reason)

It's only 40% black cherries. Wouldn't it be better to use something like this? Black Cherry Puree (No added sugar) - 1kg Frozen

Ideally, yes I’d say so. But I’ve found costings inc postage can get big quick. Was intrigued after seeing cheaper cans is all
