Not seen any mention of my local brewery... The Derby Brewing Company they brew many cracking beers and have reinvigorated the real ale drinkers of Derby with three independently run pubs selling their own and other beers. Business as Usual is their flagship ale but they also have a beauty called Quintessential that is delicious but weighs in at 6.8 and my fave Dashingly Dark.
They also run a great tour that includes many samples and a meal at their Brewery Tap pub.
this must be booked in advance and can be tricky if you can't be flexible.
Also it is round the corner from the Exeter run by another cracking micro Dancing Duck whose Dark Drake is to die for.
