Hello all

I always do a yeast starter for my American IPA but this time I delayed my brew by 24 hrs due to work. I normally do it 48hrs before but now its more like 60hrs'

I'm using DRY97 from Dan star in 1litre of water and 100g of spray malt. I've added 20g to it to keep it going!

Any advice would be appreciated before I brew tonight.

Regards

Will

It will be fine. It will just go to sleep for a bit and soon wake up once you pitch it in to your wort.
Just keep the starter covered to stop anything getting in to it.

BRY97 is reported to be a bit sluggish to start up then goes like the clappers..I suppose using a starter will help with the delay..
I would be very interested as to how you get on with this yeast as it is one I am looking at as apposed to using US05, which is a bugger to clear
