For some reason my last 3 o 4 dark ambers have come out much more drier than usual. ive gradually been ramping up mash temp from 65 to around 68/69 to no effect . ive used US 05 a couple of times and also liberty bell. the recipes l based around Cwtch, 5am saint and slot machine. At a bit of a loss as to the cause. I have done these a couple in previous years with no issue and same process?
