Ok so i had a sneaky brew day that i havent written up but it was a quick last min job.
I had all the bits weighed out from an aborted brew a couple of weeks ago so when SWMBO took her mum out for the morning sat 11th I got my brew going quickly :party:
All washed up and put away before she got back and in the spare room to ferment away.
Epic fail was that i forgot to wash up the FV lid so went thought i should just clingfilm it and sort it out later.
This morning the the head had calmed down on the FV and i realised that i had totally forgotten to actually get off my arse and sort out the clingfilm or lid. Ok it smelt fine, good kick of CO2 nose sting and general beer smell but then i noticed... 3 dry cat food buscuits in it!
I have no idea how they got them in there but there they are!
Well if it works it could be a new version of the famous cock ale or bacon beer!
