Last night I brewed the lager that I had help with from this thread.
https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/all-about-lager.85392/
21L, ABV 4.65 IBU 39.9 SRM 3.5
The final recipe was,
4.6kg pilsner 2row 95.8%
0.2kg csrapils 4.2%
65g Saaz 90mins
25 Saaz 30 mins
25 Saaz 10 mins
25 Saaz 0 mins
2 packs w34/70
60 min mash 67°C 90 min boil
All in all everything went very well apart from a Chafed right nipple from dancing around in the garage,
Hit my PH and temp targets,
Fly sparge all set up and running nicley.
Did a bit of work on my kegorator in the downtime (will do a more in-depth thread on this once it's finished).
Still cold enough in Scotland to get my wort chilled to 14°c in half an hour, handy as it's already midnight by this point.
After midnight, wort chilled, time to add some whisky to the mix.
All into the ferm chamber to have a nice controlled fermentation.
Ended at 1.042 little under but I was a little over on volume so I'm happy enough with that.
