So with two weeks conditioning This got opened tonight

CusswordAG02.jpg

Held up to a strong light (like the sun) this shows a clear feck test pass  and a long lasting creamy head . . . nice use of the glucan mash

Nice degree of carbonation, and a very nice roast aroma . . . with a hint of fruitiness . .. .

Very nice roast flavours and a long lasting bitterness . . . coating the mouth well with flavours, nice body, and a distinct blackberry aroma.

I could quite happily have a corny of this on tap . . . . Oh Wait . . . . I have

I was going to ask how it turned out, looks a good pint and has the approval of the master  :thumb: , I hope turns out as good as that. Mine was bottled a week ago. I am trying not to touch it for a few more weeks. The elderberry Stout which is still plodding along it is down to 1016 and tastes exceptionally moorish, I hope this will be ready for Christmas.

Cheers

Alistair
