Just testing the water with this one. I have an oppertunity to aquire upto 40 corny kegs (either pin or ball) does anyone have a rough idea of how much the going rate is? As I can get them for £60 each delivered to my work address. Is that a good rate? (All tested but may be able to get new seals thrown In)

Secondly if that is a good rate would anyone be interested and ill order a few for me and for whomever else wanted some

£60 is the norm depending on how good condition they were in.

That said, if I was buying more than one I'd expect a wee deal and a bit of discount.

Totally depends on condition, etc and the potential bulk discount.

I'm getting 140 quid a pair (including postage) for refurbished used kegs . . including a set of disconnects and a new seal kit

not sure if its worthwhile then. my friends getting a few pallets of kit shipped over from the US and he has a pallet spare now. I was thinking of getting my cousin in the states to pick up a few cornys and put them on the spare pallet. but all in it will work out at around £55-60 to get them over here and to my house and thats not including any fees if customs get their hands on them....

That is the problem, the market in used corny kegs is drying up . . Hear and in the US . . .They are still available in parts of Europe, but I suspect that even there they are being phased out

Cheers Aleman. The original plan was to get several cornys from a uk supplier, after seeing the price of used I then started to prepare to go down the sankey keg (crusader) route as after all pub equipment runs from them and then after realising I could get corny kegs at a better price went back to that. Looks like I'm back with the crusader plan!
