I have just moved into a house with a cellar, my question is will i be able to force carbonate properly without a chest freezer setup, its quite cold down there at the moment but will that be cold enough? Ive seen some ice jackets that you can put on cornys that will keep them cold for 24 hours which may be another option. Any ideas?

They'll be fine for carbonating in the cellar, in fact your a lucky bugger having one   Keep your eye on the cellar temps 11-13 deg c is perfect for ales (depending on your tastes) and you should easily keep them there.

its an old damp and dusty cellar with a low ceiling but im very happy to have it, all my bottles have gone down there for a start, makes a good step up from the spare room in my old flat.
