the guy at the local homebrew shop said you have to have beer completly clear before you put it in a corny and carbonate it, but ive been told you can put it straight out of your fermenter into the corny so surely it would be cloudy, help please im new to cornys
 
There is no reason why you couldn't, but I usually rack to a secondary and let it clear before I rack to a bucket and prine then fill my corny. The more gunk you can remove the clearer your beer will be when you dispense it. The one thing you don't want is big bit of trub as they may clog the valve as you dispense.
