I've kept a load of screw top wine bottles with the intention of putting corks back in. After seeing some corked bottles I'm not sure if they slightly vary in size. Has anyone done this before??

From what I recall of various earlier threads, there is some size variation but most screwtop bottles take most corks. The necks tend to be a bit thinner so be careful when ramming them in.
