Do you mean the fermenters with the removable collar? You have to buy it part of their DIY starter kits. Although I did get a 2nd one myself from eBay for £6, including 48 bottles (which was my main motivation for getting it)

That was jolly lucky. Around £65 seems to be the going rate for the Coopers Starter Kit.

The very large FV with the krausen collar is very useful. I think that the very rapid fermentation from the Coopers yeast (Coopers is a commercial brewery, so speed is very much of the essence) and the popularity of its stout kits may have prompted the development of this krausen collar.

I had one myself, but was told to chuck it after two leakage incidents following knocking the tap unit, which is the most fragile part of the set-up.
 
I got mine for £50 with 50 bottles and a lager kit in one of the Tesco sales. It's an excellent bit of kit.

Slid, you can buy replacement taps for a fiver...

Alas, too late. I still remember taking it to the tip. Isn't marriage a wonderful institution? :lol:
