my pilsner as finished fermenting today, could anyone tell me how it should smell and what the final abv was, mine still smells a bit strong, and it,s abv is 4%, iv,e still yet to bottle and put the priming sugar in does any one know what the likely final abv will be, it,s the first time i ever brewed pilsner so i need all the help i can get.

cheers everybody.

The priming sugar won't make any significant difference to the alcohol content, if it's 4% now then it'll still be pretty much 4% in the bottle. How did you work out the 4%? Do you have an original gravity & a final gravity?

Do you not have the booklet of the top of the can ? It gives you the numbers and the way to calculate them . If not . look at coopers own website for a starter :thumb:
